Gale blowing through today…got the old sea pretty stirred up!

So a little late this is. Apologies. I was procrastinating as I’d initially wanted to write this big long post with a ton of pics and stuff about how bloody marvellous everything is 🙂 But.. that will have to wait! I’ve not even finished my Cape Town post… Eish. For now, here is the short and dirty version. So I moved in at the beginning of the month, so into my fourth week here now and I can say without a shadow of a doubt this was the best decision…
Hi Folks, Looking at some of my older posts with images, I see that many are not showing. I’ll look into this as time allows, sorry about that. Cheers B
Pics from walk on Sunday from World of Birds, up Valley Road to Farriers Way and up along the contour path to Suikerbossie and back down again. Click on the image below to see all the pics.
It’s Tuesday afternoon and I’m sitting outside enjoying the lovely sun on my back. I’ve just finished a busy day but really wanted to write this post to share the news and pics from the weekend.
I spent the weekend out in Simon’s Town with a close friend of mine and some newly acquired friends, just from this weekend in fact 🙂 I’d only intended to stay on till Saturday but the way things turned out I stayed on to enjoy a lovely weekend break.
Woke up Saterday to an absolutely stunning day in Hout Bay. Thought it to good to waste, so decided to do a little exploring.
My good friend Alan lives up the mountain side, almost directly above where I’m staying right in the heart of Hout Bay valley. There is a public footpath that leads up past where he stays, it follows the old Victorskloof road build by Thomas Bains and linked Hout Bay and Camps Bay. I thought it would be good try that for a start and pick Al up on the way. I sent Al a message a but the lazy bugger never got back to me till much later when I’d all but finished the walk! Turns out he had a valid excuse though to you off the hook Al! 😉
My second walk on Hout Bay since I been back. Amazing evening and sunset. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed the view.
