Woke up this morning to about 2-4 inches of snow! So unexpected which made it an even better surprise. I know it’s a bugger for those that have to try get to work, but enjoy it! Life is to short not to make the most of these wonderful displays by Mother Nature. Some pics from my walk this morning below, enjoy!

Well there has not been much to talk about spearfishing wise the past few weeks. The weather has eventually turned and winter is upon us. I think I’ll manage a few more dives still, but it’s just about time to dry out the suit and pack all the gear away for the season. But before I do that I wanted to post some pics of a good week’s spearfishing we had a few weeks back. Just not had the time to write this up so apolgies if I’m a bit vaugue on the details.
This is a dive I been hoping to do for a couple of years now. It’s one of the few places where you can see big shoals of thousands of bass… big bass. Did I mention thousands…of big bass…
Quick coffee break post. The skipper, the legendary Muddy Waters broke a bit of a drought yesterday landing a couple of nice bass 🙂 We got 5 between us so a good day. Just  wanted to share the pic and news. Still got to do a post on Eddystone, sorry for the delay, it’s a manic week with work and getting out as much as possible on the boat before the harbour closes. for the year.
Went for a walk earlier. We got a bit of a gale blowing so I through there would be a few pictures to be had of the storm surf, but forgot it was low water. Got a couple good ones nonetheless, but what do you think? Add your comments below.
Dived Kellen today took a nice bass there. Was very cold though and was struggling with my diving a bit. Decided to move to the Conqueror. The water was much warmer there and I managed to take a good sized Pollock off there of 2-3 kilos. Fantastic dive as always the Conqueror.
Today was a very special day for me. I successfully dived two locations, having a variable depth of between 15 and 20 meters. I took fish off both locations, one of which was my best fish taken spear-fishing to-date.
The two spots where Low Lee which has a pinnacle at about 10m, falling away to 20m+ down the sides and the wreck of the Conqueror that lies in about 15 – 22m of water depending on the area you diving.
I have been spear-fishing for 3 years and today I ticked off a major goal to be able to comfortably and successfully dive 20m.
