So, been feeling a little homesick with this long ol’ winter we’ve had. Needed something to cheer me up. These did. Thought I’d share for all the expat saffers or anyone else that wants to know why we miss it so much when we away and why it will always be “home”, no matter how long we stay away. Did a lovely walk along Marazion/Long Rock beach this morning to St Michael’s Mount. Here some pics:
Off to the pool now! Hoping for another good session of an hour non-stop mile+ swim! Got back from the pool, had a shower and feel like a MACHINE!!! WHOOP WHOOP!! 70+ laps I reckon (1,7 kms)!
Yesterday I did my first mile non-stop in the pool. I’m very very chuffed, it’s not something I thought I would easily achieve. It’s very liberating.
The Football Worldcup is just round the corner now. Durbs have done a great job with their new stadium, here some pics.
From an email to friends in 2005 before leaving for the UK Hello Everyone, Please excuse the group email but boy time has just not been on my side the past while and I really wanted to share some news and these pics with everyone. For those of you on dial-up, sorry but it’s not that big an email is it? 🙂 Well where to start, everyone is pretty much up to speed I think with the fact that I have packed my bags for England, a second time yes…
