Woke up this morning a touch later than normal but still nice an early! Decided to get the day and year off to the right start and took myself and Bono for nice walk. As I stepped outside I was greeted with a great rumbling… a storm approaching. It’s been so hot that it’s really not unexpected, perhaps even surprised that it’s taken so long. Anyway I figured even if we get wet it will be awesome so off we went. Got some great pics down by the tidal pool.…
So a little late this is. Apologies. I was procrastinating as I’d initially wanted to write this big long post with a ton of pics and stuff about how bloody marvellous everything is 
But.. that will have to wait! I’ve not even finished my Cape Town post… Eish. For now, here is the short and dirty version. So I moved in at the beginning of the month, so into my fourth week here now and I can say without a shadow of a doubt this was the best decision…
Had a very lekker day yesterday. My close friends Janice and Matt have been visiting family here and will be leaving to go home soon. We been trying to get a good beach day done for ages now and after a false start on Friday, the wind was just to strong, we decided on yesterday. I took them down to Kidd’s Beach, my favourite spot and where I grew up. We arrived about 12ish and made our way down the beach. Quite a few folks about but not very busy…
