The trip is off. Don’t even ask. Please. I really do not want to speak about it, I’m devastated to be missing this.
Well it’s just about time to get on a plane again. It’s been awhile…but this time it’s just a visit. I promise to be back soon 🙂
So with buying a plot…wanting to build… and all those small things in life… I decided that unless I want to live in a tent for the next five years I best trim down my grandiose plans of a three month holiday gallivanting across two continents…to just one 😉 So Cornwall, London and folks up North in the UK. Sorry man. Best start planning your flights for the house warming party here rather!
Anyhooo. So the plan is so: Fly from Cape Town to Washington (24th May). A few nights there checking out the sites and the Smithsonian museums. The geek in me cannot wait…. they have a space ship!!!!!. And THIS >Â http://airandspace.si.edu/collections/artifact.cfm?object=nasm_A19920072000.
Then off to Charlottesville for the wedding. BIG catchup with folks and lots of revelry as we celebrate an awesome event, Ross and Alicia’s marriage. Bloody well done Boet. She’s a catch!
Then off to New York for a few nights and back to Cape Town (9th June). Capetonians, I’ll be in touch. Much catching up to do on either side of the trip 🙂
I’ll be posting more on this soon as plans come together.
In the meantime, here is the spot a few of us will be sharing for the wedding which looks really great! http://www.vrbo.com/96942
