The big day draws near

So as I posted a few weeks back, I’ll be leaving these fair shores for the fair Cape of Good Hope.

I’d hope that would be in April already, but it’s just not been possible to get everything done before now. So the big day is the 11th of May. I’ll be back in South Africa on the 12th landing in JHB on Thursday morning. From there I’m flying to East London so see family before coming home to Cape Town the following week.

If you use Google Latitude, keep track of my progress by adding me as a friend, search for deep.diving.spero@gmail.com. As always follow me via social media links, or this site for latest news.

It’s a very odd feeling, a mixture of excitement and disquiet leaving your home, to go home. I know Africa is where my heart truly lies, but Cornwall and Mounts Bay is a very special place filled with some very special people whom I’ll miss terribly.
