It’s indicative of this year (and that one before it) that I’ve not had the inclination to post regularly to my blog. For my friends who are afar, sorry. I know it’ a good way for you to keep in the loop and I been slacking.
For the past 18 months, after being forced out of my previous position at SurveyShack in the UK, I been building up my old web site design business again. Without reliable work it’s been tough time and hard to get ahead.
Dad also passed recently and although not unexpected, it’s been a sad and difficult time leading up to his death and beyond.
Work is going well now though and I’m pleased to say Arctic Online has new life in it and turning over nicely. With another push I’ll be over the hill, read ‘great big fracking mountain’, and back on my feet again (hope I’m not tempting fate to much here).
The plan is to move back to the coast early next year, hopefully in February. If all goes to plan I’ll find a place in Plettenberg Bay first. After a few months I hope to have found a nice outlying village or farm that that I can move to. Why this area? Well I need to be by the sea first and foremost. And this area is stunning, warm seas and good spear-fishing. Importantly the water visibility is much better than in the Eastern Cape where I am now which means more diving days per year. Plett also has an airport which makes getting around or folks coming to visit a bit easier.
Well that is my news for now folks. Ross has inspired my to write more again so I intend to be more active now. If you looking for a great read, then why not check out is blog till I get my arse in gear 🙂 Bx
