My new home

So a little late this is. Apologies. I was procrastinating as I’d initially wanted to write this big long post with a ton of pics and stuff about how bloody marvellous everything is 🙂 But.. that will have to wait! I’ve not even finished my Cape Town post… Eish. For now, here is the short and dirty version.

So I moved in at the beginning of the month, so into my fourth week here now and I can say without a shadow of a doubt this was the best decision I have made in a good ol’ while. It’s fantastic here! Of course those that know me we well will know that I grew up in these parts so it’s sort of a home coming.  In a bout of nostalgia I did a fly over on Google Maps viewing the old pineapple lands of the old farm, still visible today even under the grass.

So really all I can say is come and visit. My home is your home and I look forward to seeing you all. I’ll leave you with some links to Google Maps, have a look around the village! And some pics from my walks with Bono.

Good on you Mr B. Don’t be too free with your invitations to visit – it may be tempting enough to come all the way to SA to do so ! Looking forward to some “spearo” reports. I believe Kidds Beach is a hot spot for Blue Fish. Ross got a humungous yellow tail there once . LUVMUD
