My toes are the happiest when they look this

As the headline and image above suggests, I been on the beach a bit this week. It’s been incredibly busy with work (a good thing) but I’m so lucky that I seem to be finding a good balance of focusing on work and taking the time I need for myself too. It’s so important to make my life here sustainable. I need the work to pay my way and to work towards my goals, but without the balance I’d be unhappy, stressed and well probably quite grumpy. I don’t like being grumpy but it happens when I’m not balancing things out as I should so I work hard to try keep balance, but it’s not easy.

Anyway since I succumbed  to the insurmountable pressure from my sister in spirit, Terri, to join Facebook I have been neglecting to add pics here. So just a post to add some of the highlights of the week and keep them here to share. (If you want to add me on Facebook, drop me an email or look for me with Bono’s picture as my profile pic, I changed my surname in a last ditch attempt to save my tin foil hat…)

The following pics are from the morning sunrises this past week and also from our Tuesday and Thursday morning exercise on the beach with Benj, Jean, Sean and Kian.

On Friday I finished work at about 4, made my way down to the beach and walked out to Monkey Bay. For a bit of extra exercise a ran up each of the dunes on the way there…. I was knackered by the time I got to there… they a lot bigger than they look ok… had a nice chilled walk back just soaking up the beauty and tranquillity. Finished up with a swim on the main beach before heading home feeling great after a really busy week. What a way to end the week, perfect.

This morning I started my day early and went to enjoy a session of exercise and yoga on the beach this morning. Finished it off with a nice, bit rather quick swim.

It was a stunning day here today and hope you all enjoyed it and got to spend it with those close to you.

Have a wonderful week my friends. Smile, live and be happy.
