Angela and I leave for a welcome break to Cape Town today. It’s been a crazy few months and an exceptionally busy year overall. But what a year!
It was about 12 months ago that I started working on buying the plot of land here with Mum. Today, I’m sending my comments to the architect to make adjustments to the plans for the home I’ll be building there. If all goes well we’ll start on the cottage for Mum in March next year. With the main house to follow as soon as possible after that.
As amazing as that is…the thing that I treasure most, a true and wonderful gift, is my relationship with the most wonderfully loving woman that I’m going to be sharing my holiday with. Angela. She brings me such joy every single day and fills my heart with love. What a lucky man I am to have a woman that loves me so.
We’ll be travelling to Hout Bay, Stellenbosch, Franshoek, Elgin and back over the next week. Seeing old friends, making new ones. Can’t wait.
